Change of Transaction / Record Type
The change of transaction / record type procedure has been expanded. It can now be used in xFlow Interface and xFlow Invoice in the same manner.
The new record type change now makes it possible to change the record type as well as the xFlow Interface application.
In order to use the extended transaction / record-type change procedure, define the source application during customizing. This will also determine whether a change of transaction (xFlow -> Interface) or of record type (Interface -> Interface) is to be performed.
Next, define the source and target Interface record type.
Optional Field Mapping
As an option, you can specify a field mapping for transferring the fields of the source document / source record into fields of the target record.
If you do not define a field mapping, the system will assign data to fields of the same name.
Conversion Exits
The software automatically generates and calls conversion exits based on how the data element is defined for the field.
You can still use the old transaction / document-type change as before.
Applying ArchiveLink Documents
In order to be able to apply ArchiveLink documents to a new invoice, you must first map ArchiveLink document types to document categories in the customizing step.
Next, you need to customize change transactions by defining the target document type for each document category.
