As of the current version, repositories with the standardized "Content Management Interoperability Services" (CMIS) protocol can be used to archive and display documents.

The prerequisite for this is an S/4HANA system and a configured CMIS repository.

The SICF service WMD_CMIS_GET must be configured for this, provided with a background user, and then activated. The configuration procedure is analogous to the configuration of xSuite Web.

Read access to the CMIS repository is provided by the standard SAP module SCMS_CMIS_GET.
