The purpose of this parameter is to postpone the processing of the event after creating a purchase requisition or purchase order. The background is the posting of information in the xFlow runtime tables after a purchase requisition or purchase order has been generated. This may result in delays due to the increased load on the update server, preventing a COMMIT from taking place immediately.

The recipient of the event who decides how a purchase requisition or purchase order is to be processed may then read information which is not current.

This might even lead to an additional workflow being generated at the transition from the feeder to the purchase requisition, activating two workflows for a single purchase requisition.

The parametric value stands for the waiting time of the recipient of the event in seconds. The default value is 5 seconds.
