Customizing for release type (transaction /WMD/BC_SPRO → Workflow → Basis → Basic Settings → Define Release Types) has been extended to include the release object MAGR for the material group category.

The release object is maintained in transaction /WMD/BC_SPRO → Workflow → Procurement → Documents → Release Objects Settings (table /WMD/XF_PU_RELCU):

These settings are part of the standard system. No further adjustments are necessary.

Furthermore, the expression MRP_CTRLER has been introduced. The expression MRP_CTRLER is used to determine the MRP controller, provided this is maintained in the master data for materials.
