Forwarding work items

You can forward a work item to another role or to a specific user for processing, for example, if a particular invoice is to be validated by a certain user.

A forwarded work item will be removed from the Validate or Classify task list and only displayed to the recipients of the forwarding action, in the task list Forwarded to me. A forwarded work item is thus reserved for the recipients.

If you have forwarded a work item by mistake, you can retrieve it.

If you have received a work item forwarded by mistake, you can return it.

In both cases it is moved back to the Validate or Classify task basket.
