The classification process
The classification process comprises the following steps:

Process step | Description |

Input | Various input scenarios are supported for document receipt, including receipt via a locally installed scan client, directly from the MS Office environment, or via a web service. |
Processing | During processing, the documents are classified, i.e. the document class is determined through an evaluation of full text content. Classification takes place automatically in the background. |
Validation | Validation of the classification results takes place in Helix. Classification results are displayed in the classification view with the document viewer. |
Output | Classified documents can be archived and validated directly in Helix. Hybrid scenarios are also possible, with classified documents validated or archived in other systems. Classified documents can then be transferred to locally installed downstream systems such as a workflow or ERP solution, or to an archive. |
