Migrating from xFlow 4
xFlow 4 has been discontinued for several years. Migration from the xFlow 4 to xSuite 5.2.15 therefore requires two intermediate steps – first to 5.2.0 and then to 5.2.6.
If the first intermediate step is omitted, undesired antiquated table entries and defective templates will remain in the workflow builder. This is to be avoided at all costs.
If the second intermediate step is omitted, problems may arise when migrating running workflows.
Proceed as follows:
Import the migration transport I08K900437 (xFlow MIG40) and abort all xFlow instances via Transaction /WMD/MIG40 according to the instructions in the Migration Guide.
Import Version 5.2.0 by transport to the target client.
Update from Version 5.2.0 to 5.2.6 using SAINT in the client "000."
Activate the BC set /WMD/XF_526_INSTALL in the target client.
Import the transport I08K902184 (xFlow MIG50 5.0.5) and execute the migration according to the instructions in the Migration Guide.
Update from Version 5.2.6 to 5.2.15.
