xSuite text system

The administrator can freely define and adapt language elements of all xSuite applications on the departmental level in any language. Text elements can be created or edited either globally or for individual applications.

The editing function for xSuite language elements is divided into two main sections:

Customer table and system table

In the xSuite text system, a distinction is made between customer table and system table:

  • The customer table is where the text elements individually created by the administrator, including new language versions, are stored. This includes settings of company-specific terms.

  • The system table cannot be changed and is delivered as a system standard in English, German, Danish, Dutch and French.

Notice

All entries created by the administrator in the customer table have priority over the entries in the system table. Terms that have not been translated individually in the customer table are displayed in the xSuite applications by the standard entries from the system table.
