"Release Document" (Role AREL)

The workflow task "Release document" is comprised of the release of a document for posting.

In the standard FI workflow, release comes after the workflow task "Complete document."

The "Release document" step proceeds by item and may include any number of release levels. The releaser responsible will automatically be identified. The underlying release guidelines are configured in agent determination (transaction /WMD/XF_AGDET). The user responsible for release is identified according to this configuration, which involves amount, cost center, etc. in determining the user.

If one or more items are rejected, the document will be rejected as a whole. If one or more items are rejected, the releaser will need to enter a written justification (Text section).

"Release Document": Buttons

	Save	Saves the document and ends the workflow step. Requirement: All items are released or rejected. If one or more items are rejected, the document will be rejected as a whole. The following steps are executed: The work item is transferred to the next workflow step. The work item is saved. The workflow log documents that the workflow step has been completed. 	Replace	Returns the work item to the inbox and leaves the workflow step open. This makes the work item available to all other users responsible for that particular workflow task. (Translator's note on SAP terminology: The task is not actually "replaced" but rather is simply placed back into the inbox.) 	Inquiry	Forwards the work item to another user with an inquiry, leaving the current workflow step open. Requirement: A comment has been entered in the section Text. The recipient can enter comments and return the work item to the inbox. The recipient will not be able to edit the work item. Shortcut in the SAP GUI: CtrlF4
	Delegate	Forwards the work item to another user. The delegate transfers his/her authorization for the workflow task in which the work item is located to the work item recipient. Shortcut in the SAP GUI: CtrlF3
--	Display Document	Opens the document in display mode. Shortcut in the SAP GUI: CtrlShiftF10 Note: This button is only available in the SAP GUI.
	Create Attachment	Adds an attachment to the document. For example, an original document can be added at a later date. Once attachments have been added, they cannot be deleted. Shortcut in the SAP GUI: CtrlF11
	Refresh	Refreshes the data of a work item. Note: This button is only available in xSuite Web and in SAP Fiori.
	Back	Routes you back to the Web Business Workplace and leaves the workflow step open. As you have accepted the work item, you are the only one that will be able to edit it. Note: This button is only available in xSuite Web and in SAP Fiori.
