The "Recover" tool
The "Recover" tool restores data. Various recovery options are available in the event of a loss of data in the management database. It is also possible to restore a full-text index.
Notice
It is not always possible to restore all data. Therefore, we advise backing up administration data and index data at regular intervals.
Different recovery scenarios:
Notes cannot be restored from the file system since they have only been stored in the note collection of the administration database.
Version information can be partially restored. The information as to when and by whom a version was deleted cannot be restored from the file system. After recovery you will only see that there are gaps in history.
Everything is recovered. In future versions, it will be possible to recover data starting from a specific point in time (File-System-Timestamp).
