Follow-up task

Technical description

Customizing application pool identity in the IIS

By default, the identity ApplicationPoolIdentity is stored in the IIS in the xSuite Bus Prism application pool.

Adapt this identity. Instead of ApplicationPoolIdentity, enter the name of a user that has the server role DB_Owner for the xSuite Bus database.

For information on the procedure, see Customizing application pool identity in the IIS.

Customizing Windows Services users

The xFlowBusServiceWatcher and xFlowBusWindowsService services are automatically installed during the xSuite Bus Prism setup. By default, these services run through a local system account.

Instead of the local system account, enter a user that has the server role DB_Owner on the xSuite Bus database.

Note: This rework is only necessary if the Windows authentication type was selected during setup.

For information on the procedure, see Customizing Windows Services users.

Configuration of the xSuite Viewer

To use the xSuite Viewer with other systems, e.g., SAP, make settings in the IIS.

For information on the procedure, see Configuration of the xSuite Viewer.

Customization in xSuite Interface

To ensure the communication between the xSuite Bus web service and xSuite Interface, the file xFlowBusWebServiceClientLibrary.dll must be copied into the program directory of xSuite Interface.

For information on the procedure, see Customization in xSuite Interface.
