Reactivating the Windows Service

Should an error occur when launching the IRISXtract License Service Windows Service, the underlying cause may be a change made to the system hardware. In this case, the service from the installation directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Docutec\LicenseService\LicenseService (the path may differ if the service was installed in a different directory) must be manually executed.

When executing the LicenseDervice.exe, you will be requested to transmit a hardware key and the user name to I.R.I.S. The e-mail address is: Register-DE@iriscorporate.com. You will receive an e-mail response in which the required key is specified. Use this key to register the service.
