About this Guide
This publication offers instructions on installing and configuring xSuite Apps for SAP Fiori (abbreviated "xSuite Apps").
Caution
xSuite may only be installed by experienced consultants who have received specialized xSuite training. These consultants must either work for the xSuite Group or for a partner who is xSuite-certified. An installation performed by customers or SAP partners, system integrators, or external consultants who are not xSuite-certified is not recommended or supported by the xSuite Group.
The following xSuite Apps are included in the package and can be used independently.
Notice
For some functionalities, you switch from one xSuite App to another xSuite App. This assumes that the xSuite App to which you are switching is also available.

The installation and the back-end configuration are performed together for xSuite Apps. This means that you cannot install the xSuite apps individually, nor can you configure the back-end differently.
After installing the back end, the front end must be configured. All xSuite apps are configured in a file on the front-end side.
The standard front end is the Fiori Launchpad. The Fiori Launchpad provides the xSuite Apps in the form of tiles.
Alternatively, xSuite Apps can be operated in stand-alone mode. There are no tiles in the stand-alone version. Instead, xSuite Apps are made available in the stand-alone version in the form of individual pages.
