In the course of development, if functions no longer corresponded to latest standards, they have been removed from the scope of services or replaced by alternatives .
Elasticsearch 2 no longer supported
Before installing the xSuite Archive Prism 2.x version, a migration from Elasticsearch 2 to Elasticsearch 7 must be carried out with xSuite Archive Prism Version 1.2.4.
SAP indexing now only supported via the SAP Indexer
Up to the xSuite Archive Prism Version 2.0, it was possible for xSuite Archive Content Server documents to be indexed via a scheduler job. The index data was retrieved from SAP either via RFC or web service. The scheduler function is now only available for updates from xSuite Archive Prism Version 1.2.4 to Version 2.x. In addition, the scheduler function obtained through the update is no longer available via RFC, but only via web service. Alternatively, the new indexing option can be used. This triggers indexing from SAP.
Client API not released
The .NET 7 Client DLL (API) is not compatible with the old .NET Framework 4.7 API. We are currently working on the migration of the .NET 7 DLL to make it compatible with the API of xSuite Archive Prism 1.2.4. However, as use of the .NET DLL will be discontinued in the future, we recommend converting existing API programming to the REST API.
